Made in an ethical, fair trade environment and rooted in local tradition, this our sabai grass baskets are handwoven by groups of women in small communities across Orissa. Each textural piece has been crafted by hand and has taken weeks to perfect.
Our Sabai collection has taken years to conceptualize and implement. Finding grass suited for indian homes and more importantly an Indian community of women weaving baskets in an ethical manner was particularly hard to find.
These baskets are multi functional, use them to put your veggies, hang them as a piece of art, use as storage for towels or just decorate them in your shelves.
