Best of Maison & Objet, Paris 2019

Every year I decide to visit the Maison & Objet fair and every year somehow I don’t ☹ Its one of those design shows that are truly inspiring and I yearn to go and this year my baby was too small to even think of going. Actually writing this blog will hopefully remind me to go next year as my little one will be more than a year old (I am hoping I can manage because from the looks if it, I don’t feel like leaving him for long)

The objective of this blog is to bring to you the best of the fair #MO19 in terms of current or emerging trends, unusual finds or classics. Also a disclaimer: I am no expert in Maison & Objet. Its just passion and love for interiors that has led to me write this blog. There might be trends/brands or stuff that is more inspiring and worthy to write about which I might I have missed. Since its my first time so please forgive me for missing on anything.

So just an introduction, Maison & Objet is actually an international interior design show and its Paris show happens in January. They cover a wide variety of categories ranging from fashion & home accessories to home linen to fragrances to kids.  They are somewhat an authority on home décor and interiors and I would definitely agree. 

The blog will have more pictures rather than text as its all about beautiful stuff!

How can we not start with a Seletti world classic? The mouse heart lamp is a classic at the fair and I hope I can buy it someday for my house <3

I''ll say its a revisit to the old cane lamps but don't they look stunning?

This is one of my favorite images, what an innovation! Could never imagine 2 broken plates looking this great. Might try something like this at home but I think fevikwik wont suffice :/

Terrazzo and Moroccan inspired serveware? Yes please! How beautiful and inspiring. 

Found this to a very innovative way to serve, because the wine always spills. Also serveware for 1 should be a legitimate category now.

Thank god, our favourites - the tropics aren't going anywhere. 

For furnishing, a lot of prints and basics emerged. Just see the frida kahlo bath curtain. I would certainly love some frida in my washroom.

Also metallic curtains are here to stay!

So are copper bath fittings

And to end this blog, how well does Missoni Home blend camo and jungle. I mean am beyond words.
